Objective:
To further my career as an artist and attain international status by exhibiting my art in other countries. As a refugee living in a war-torn land, I seek to foster peace and understanding through my art.
Employment History:
Head Artist, Red Crescent, Gaza Strip, June 1996 to the present
- Founder of the Red Crescent branch in Gaza
- Organize monthly exhibitions in the Red Crescent branches of both the Gaza Strip and West Bank
- Organize daily workshops to train young artists
- Represent the Red Crescent in international exhibitions
Vice President, Association of Modern Artists, Gaza, Sept 1999 to the present
- Founder of the group which meets bi-monthly to train young artists and assist them in establishing their reputation in the community
- Organize joint exhibitions to promote the work of young artists
